Step 1: Gather Your Materials

A ceiling light fixture
A ceiling light plug
Electrical tape
A screwdriver

Step 2: Turn Off the Power

Before you do anything else, it's important to turn off the power to the room where you'll be working. You can do this by flipping the circuit breaker or fuse that controls the power to the room.

Step 3: Remove the Old Light Fixture
